Sorry to say the season is coming to an end. There were lots of marina activities with more to come next year. Look for the dock water to cease around the 15th of October, with the bath house closing around November 1.

MASTER DEED

Cords should be UL approved and secured so as not to dangle in the water. Regular extension cords are not recommended.

  Another Reminder. All slip owners MUST provide the Board with a copy of their current insurance policies. If the slip is rented, then the renters insurance policy should be submitted along with the rental agreement. This is to keep us in compliance and insure that everyone has the proper coverage. Slip rental agreements will NOT be approved without the insurance policy! Sent them to 300 Oak St, South Haven MI 49090.

  The Board wants you to know: It is against the fire code to fuel a vessel while at mooring and more importantly, it is AGAINST marina rules to fuel boats in the marina slips! This happened last fall at Black River YC with serious consequences. If your dinghy outboard has an internal fuel tank, insure that fueling is down outside of the slip.

JUST A LITTLE TIDBIT OF INFO: If you are a slip OWNER, you're entitled to a parking pass that allow you to park FREE in any of the City of South Haven lots, including the beaches! Something great for yourself, or perhaps your renter! Just visit SH City Hall & provide proof of ownership.

 The Board wants everyone to know that if you have a concern about the marina, please send that concern in writing via letter or email to the Board. Individual Board members may not be able to address those concerns, and if they're in writing, prompt attention will be paid to them by the Board.
